Adam Lewis

chop wood carry water was founded by Adam Lewis. Adam spent 20 years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he was the managing partner Australia & New Zealand from 2002 to 2008. Adam was also member of McKinsey & Company's global personnel committees and Asia Council governing body.

Adam has extensive consulting experience at the most senior levels of corporations across a range of industries including: metals; mining; chemicals; manufacturing; telecommunications; retailing; banking and government.

Adam's particular expertise in business unit and corporate strategy, including game theory and competitive analysis; as well as organisation. This experience has been developed in markets including: Australia, New Zealand, USA, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.

He was also a Board member of the Melbourne International Film Festival, Howard Florey Commercialisation Board and Australia Council for the Arts.

He has an MBA (Honours) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (Honours) from Curtin University, Western Australia.
